An Approach of Information Hiding Based on Adjusting JPEG Quantification Table

An information hiding method based on adjusting the JPEG quantification table is proposed.First of all,the differences between the quantified DCT coefficients and the counter-quantification DCT coefficients of a JPEG image are calculated for seeking the best positions of hiding information.Secondly,the value of the JPEG quantification table at best position was adjusted,and the secret information was inserted at the responding position.Finally,the information hiding content of a JPEG image was discussed.
