Knowledge Acquisition Model for Cartographical Generalization Based on Granular Computing

  • A model of knowledge acquisition based on granular computing is proposed.By this model,decision rules of geographical entities or objects hided in database can be found and used to direct the selection reasoning of cartographical generalizations.We discussed the model and the means of knowledge acquisition for cartographical generalizations ground on granular computing with a case for the selection of rivers.
