  • As traditional image filtering algorithm may lose some image detail information while eliminating noise,an image filtering algorithm based on image enhancement is proposed.In the algorithm,adaptively automatic threshold is calculated according to the mean value of the 3×3 area pixels around the detecting pixel and gradient of the detecting pixel and the human vision system(HVS).The algerithm can not only restrain noise,but also enhance the contrast with the edge of the image.By comparing the results of the new algorithm and those of other original image filtering algorithms,the new algorithm is outstanding.
