Abstract
In this paper, decadal variability of global mean sea level is analyzed over one century using the datasets of global ocean tide measurement data from permanent service for mean sea level(PSMSL).Their local characteristics were also analyzed. The result reveals that the global mean sea level has continued to rise since the 1970s,particularly in the last 30 years there is largely regional variability of sea level. The long-term variability of sea level change was also investigated using the several tidal stations measurement data with long time series. Finally, after the analysis of the long-term tendency in the last century, there is almost the entirely rise of sea level, especially in the northern of Atlantic and the western of the Pacific with a rise of nearly 40 mm/a.
