Abstract
Regionalspatialtriangulatednetworkmanagingtheoutcomeofspatialtriangulationisraisedinthispaperonthebasisofrepeatedobservationofsatellites.Combinedblockadjustmentwithnon o rientednewimagesandspatialtriangulatednetworkisexecutedforpositioningwithsparse(no)groundcontrolpoints(GCPs).TestresultsshowthatspatialtriangulatednetworkcanachievehigheraccuracywithoutGCPsandneedsfewerGCPstogetthesameaccuracythantheconventionalmethod.Thehigheraccuracycanbeachievedwhenthenumberofimagesinthenetworkismoreandresolutionhigherthanthenewimagesandalsotheyhavehigheroverlaps,Inapplication,usingspatialtriangula tednetworkwillimprovethetimelyefficiencyofgeometryprocessingofsatelliteimagesandimagesutilization,whichprovidesanothereffectivewaytoimagegeometricpositioning.
