  • Anewmulti scalecontourmodelmorphingtransformationmethodof3Dpointcloudispro posedbydrawingonmorphingtechnology.First,thespatialdistributionof3Dpointcloudisanalyzedandslicedwitharegularintervalinsomeanaxisdirection(likeaxis犣).Apointcloudstratifiedmodeliscreatedandstratifiedcontoursareextractedbytakingstratifiedpointcloudastheunits.Then,thestratifiedconvexpolygonsconstructedwithstratifieddatasetsareactedastheminimalscalecontourbrokenlines,andtheremainingunorganizedpointsareclassifiedtothecorrespongdingconvexedgesbyacertainlaw.Introducingthescaleparametertandcalculatingtheselectiontimeparametersofpoints,continuoustransformingmediumscalecontourbrokenlinesareconstructed.Finally,smoothstratifiedcontoursaregainedbyfittingstratifiedcontourbrokenlines,andthemultiscalecontourmodelsof3Dpointcloudarepresented.Twoexperimentsdemonstratethatthemethodproposedinthispapercandealwiththeorganizedpointcloudandtheunorganizedpointcloud.Thegainedcon toursconformwiththenaturesofcommoncontourandwillnotresultintheproblemofintercrossontheedge.Meanwhile,themethodrunsquickly.
