Annual Update Method for Grading Cultivated Land Quality

Annual updating of land quality grades is the foundation of cultivated land quantity controland quality management.It is also an important way to achieve integrated cultivated land managementobjectives for quantity,quality,ownership and price.This paper puts forward a technical means forcultivated land quality grade updates,pointing out the key steps and implementation points such asdifferentiating variation types,ascertaining the quality alteration range,establishing evaluation indexsystem and assigning the grading factors.Then,taking Gong’an County in Hubei province,a state-level experimental unit,as a case study,we found that the proposed method for cultivated land qualitygrade updating under different variation types were effective.In the final analysis,experimental siteimplementation problems and suggestions are discussed.
