Evaluating the Quality of a Digital Image

  • 摘要: 本文根据信息论的原理,对数字图象中所包含的目标和白噪声进行了分析。利用目标的空间相关性,提出了一种估算目标的信息量和白噪声的墙的方法。该方法在变焦图象的象质评定和卫星图象除去噪声方面取得了良好的应用效果。

     

    Abstract: This paper applies information theory to analyze the objects and white noise on a digital image.Based on the spatial correlation of objects,a method is developed for estimating information content of objects and entropy of white noise.The method is used to appraise a group of different focus images and remove noise from satellitic image,which shows a good application efficiency.
