不同分析中心北斗三号姿态四元数产品比较分析及其在PPP中的应用

Comparison and Analysis of BeiDou-3 Satellite Attitude Quaternions Products from Different Analysis Centers and Their Application in PPP

  • 摘要: 国际卫星导航服务组织(International GNSS Service,IGS)在第三次重处理中推出了卫星姿态四元数产品,该产品不仅有利于地影期间各分析中心精密产品的综合,同时也有助于提高卫星姿态异常时期精密单点定位(Precise PointPositioning,PPP)的可靠性。对WHU(Wuhan University)、GFZ(Geo ForschungsZentrum)和CODE(Center for Orbit Determination in Europe)三家分析中心提供的四种北斗三号卫星导航系统(BeiDou-3 navigation satellite system,BeiDou-3)最终/快速姿态四元数产品进行了比较,分析了各个产品对不同类型的BeiDou-3卫星所采用的姿态模型的特点,并探究了不同卫星姿态对BeiDou-3动态PPP定位的影响。结果表明,在卫星太阳高度角接近0°时,不同分析中心采用了不同的BeiDou-3姿态模型,其偏航角差异可高达约120°;此外,使用各个分析中心配套的姿态四元数,地影期间动态PPP三维定位精度都得到一定的提升;其中,采用WHU快速产品的提升率较为显著,与采用名义姿态相比,使用四元数产品后动态PPP的三维定位精度可提高约18.4 %。虽然采用目前公开的BeiDou-3模型姿态对PPP定位有所改善,但不同分析中心对精密产品估计时采用的卫星姿态可能会有所不同,因此,配套使用各分析中心提供的姿态四元数才能获得可靠的定位结果。

     

    Abstract: Objectives: The satellite attitude quaternion products have been proposed by International GNSS Service (IGS) in the third data reprocessing campaign(repro3). These satellite attitude quaternion products are not only contributed to combining the precise satellite products during the eclipse season, but also can improve the reliability of precision point positioning (PPP) when satellites are in abnormal yaw attitude. Methods:In this paper, the four final and rapid BeiDou-3 satellite attitude products provided by WHU (Wuhan University), GFZ (Geo Forschungs Zentrum) and CODE (Center for Orbit Determination in Europe) analysis centers have been compared. Then attitude model characteristic of BeiDou-3 navigation satellite system (BeiDou-3) with different type from different analysis centers have been also analyzed in the eclipse seasons, and the effect of different satellite model on satellite clock and kinematic PPP have been investigated. Results: The results demonstrate that the BeiDou-3 yaw angle difference can reach up 120° from different analysis centers when the sun elevation angle is approximately 0°. In this period, different analysis centers used the different attitude model, and the difference of quaternions yaw angle could reach up to 120°. Furthermore, when the satellite attitude quaternions are used from different analysis centers, the PPP positing accuracy can be improved during the eclipse season. In detail, a significant improvement rate is achieved by using WHU rapid products, compared with nominal attitude strategy, the 3D positioning accuracy of kinematic PPP solutions with satellite attitude quaternions can be improved approximately 18.4 %. Conclusion: Although the positioning accuracy of PPP solutions can be improved by using the publicly BeiDou-3 attitude model, various attitude strategies may be adopted in the different analysis centers. Therefore, in order to obtain reliable PPP results, the satellite attitude quaternions should be used.
