Abstract: We give the definition of heterogeneous nodes and networks in the heterogeneous sensor network(HSN),analyze the heterogeneous factors in the HSN,describe the physical factors and key management schemes,and propose a multi-dimensional framework model for key management in the HSN,which provides the structural support for further study of key management protocols.The analysis results of model simulation show that the model is correct and effective for the key management.
