Evaluation of EGM2008 and Its Application Analysis Over a Particular Region of China

  • 摘要: 利用搜集的某地区225个GPS水准点数据对最新的超高阶全球重力场模型EGM2008进行了外部检核,并将其结果同EIGEN-5C、EIGEN-4C及EGM96等全球重力场模型进行了比较。外部检核结果表明,EGM2008模型相对其他全球重力场模型的整体精度有所提高。该地区的相对检核结果表明,可将EGM2008模型和GPS大地高相结合应用于低等级的水准测量和长距离的跨障碍物高程传递。

     

    Abstract: We present the evaluation results for the new very-high-degree earth gravitational model(EGM2008) using 225 GPS/leveling benchmarks in a particular region of China.A statistical comparison has been made with some other global geopotential models,such as EIGEN-5C,EIGEN-4C and EGM96.The evaluation results show that EGM2008 offers some inprovement compared to the performance of previous global geopotential models in this region.The results of baseline evaluation tests indicate that GPS height combined with EGM2008 can be used for low grade height difference measurement and height transfer across obstacle.
