Analysis of Combining Ground-based GPS Network and Space-based COSMIC Occultation Observation for Precipitable Water Vapor Application

  • 摘要: 基于2010年1~2月的COSMIC掩星气象观测数据和IGS地面跟踪站数据进行了统计分析,利用现有可获取的地面CORS网络和中国区域IGS跟踪站联合COSMIC掩星事件进行了处理分析,研究并设计了基于网络的大气可降水量估计服务系统。

     

    Abstract: Comparison of PWVs from collocated ground GPS stations and COSMIC observations confirms their consistency which indicates the possibility to combine data from these two techniques,Statistical analysis of COSMIC occultation events during January and February 2010 is done.The combination of data from currently available IGS GPS stations and COSMIC occultation events for deriving regional PWV map is conducted and the results are assessed.An internet-based PWV service system is designed for providing both ground-and space-based PWVs and also for receiving GPS ground station data from users in order to improve the regional PWV information of their interest.
