Crustal E-W Extension of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Its Mechanical Mechanism

  • 摘要: 基于GPS观测约束下的数值模拟结果,分析了青藏高原内部的应力状态,然后利用重力异常计算了青藏高原下上地幔对流产生的应力场,进而分析了地幔对流应力场对青藏高原区域构造过程的作用,并讨论了高原东_西向拉张的动力学机制及背景。

     

    Abstract: Within the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,extensive E-W crustal extension is observed.Since this kind of E-W extension is not the consequence of global tectonics,other geodynamic process must be superimposed to collision and compression between Indian and Eurasia plates to be responsible for the E-W extension.
