Abstract: Current conceptual modeling method does not support manipulation of the temporal and multi-dimensional element,so it is difficult for current conceptual modeling method to deal with temporal and multi-dimensional phenomenon.With regard to designing application system,the thesis studies the conceptual modeling method of spatiotemporal applications.Basing on analysis existing modeling methods and requirements which conceptual modeling of spatiotemporal application should meet,the thesis extends object model by introducing a small set of clear and simple notation,and presents a spatiotemporal extended object model.Compared with the traditional model,the spatiotemporal extended object model is able to speed up the data modeling process and to make model easier to comprehend and maintain.
