Abstract: This paper introduces the process of evaluating soil quality based on GIS,discusses how to select factors and to present powers to factors participating in evaluation in detail and points out the faults of AHP,PCA and LR.Then this paper presents a new method named liner regression taking into account relative coefficient variation among factors and evaluating objects.An instance is cited to prove and validate that the new method makes the evaluation of soil quality more accurate and reliable.
