Web-based Publication and Interactive Browsing for Massive Terrain Data

摘要: 阐述了基于CORBA的分布式平台实现异构网络环境下海量地形数据的Web发布与服务的关键技术,通过一个实验系统对上述方法进行了测试。

Abstract: The kernel of this paper is to discuss the key technology of publication and interactive browsing for massive terrain data.These massive terrain data are stored in spatial database.Compared with the traditional application architecture of Web GIS, the application architecture of CORBA is proposed.After analyzing the characters of massive terrain data and Web, the distributed Web architecture based on CORBA is proposed.The CORBA-based WTS's interface also accomplished for terrain data services. Finally, according to these methods, the Web-based disturbed 3D terrain services system is implemented and the experiment is tested.
