摘要: 针对ROAM算法的缺点,对ROAM算法进行了改进。改进算法提出了先分块后构模的思想,首先将大规模高程数据进行分块,然后根据视点与子块的关系对每一个子块进行细分判断,最后,用改进的ROAM算法模拟我国荆江地区的三维地形,取得了良好的显示效果。Abstract: This paper presents an improved LOD algorithm based on ROAM. The improved algorithm brings out an thought of "first division then modeling", it first divides the large DEM data into some smaller sub-blocks and then establishes the real-time continuous LOD based on those sub-blocks according to the relationship between the viewpoint location and the space error. Last, this paper uses the improved algorthim to simulate the terrain of Jingjiang area and gets a good effect.
