Abstract:
This paper describes briefly the basic principle of GPS-supported bundle block adjustment in WGS-84 coordinate system and the transfomation method between geodetic height in WGS-84 coordinate system and nomal height in 80' Xian geodetic coordinate system by using the geoid model CQG2000. The algorithms are programmed and tested on two sets of actual aerial photographs, at the image scale of 1:25 000 and 1:50 000, with airborne GPS data taken from Xinjiang site in China. The GPS-supported bundle block adjustment is conducted by the software WuCAPS GPS.The 1:25 000 photos are processed with 4
XYZ ground control points around the corners of block area, and the 1:50 000 photos are adjusted without any ground control point. The experimental results have verified that the accuracies of GPS-supported bundle block adjustment under different coordinate systems are very close.
