Abstract: In this paper,a new method based on MRF parameters and linear programming is proposed for airphoto texture recognition.The principle of this method and the main idea of Simplex Algorithm are introduced.The proposed method is used for seven kinds of typical texture images from airphotos.The experimetal results show that the mean ratio of correct recognition can be up to 94% and that of correct rejection can be up to 92%.
