The Compact Bintree Representation & Encoding of Binary Images

  • 摘要: 提出一种用于图像表达的紧凑二叉树方法,讨论了该表示方法的编码及特点,并给出了它与线性四叉树之间的转换算法。文中所列试验及分析表明,新提出的紧凑二叉树表示方法具有较高的时空效率。

     

    Abstract: In this paper,the authors propose a method of compact bintree representation(CBR) used for binary images,and discuss its encoding characteristics.Then,the conversion algorithm between CBR and linear quadtree is given.The comparison and exampls in this paper show that the spatiotemporal efficiency of CBR is higher than linear quadtree's.
