A Modified 3D Grid Interpolation Method for Satellite SAR Geocoding

  • 摘要: 针对传统的SAR影像地理编码方法在处理效率和定位精度方面存在的问题,提出了一种基于改进的三维网格插值的地理编码方法。采用ENVISAT ASAR数据的实验结果表明,相对于原始的三维网格插值方法,该方法能够以有限增加计算时间开销为代价,大幅提高几何定位精度,可以有效地用于实现SAR影像的快速高精度地理编码。

     

    Abstract: To eliminate the pervasive geometric distortion and improve the application value of SAR images,orthorectification taking topography into account must be performed to generate orthoimages in a certain map projection.This process is known as SAR geocoding.To solve the problems of traditional methods for SAR geocoding in efficiency and accuracy,here a modified 3D grid interpolation method is proposed.Experimental results with ENVISAT ASAR data show that significant improvements in geometric location accuracy can be achieved by using the modified method when compared with the original one,while the increases in computation time cost are limited.Therefore,the modified 3D grid interpolation method can be used to perform fast SAR image geocoding with high accuracy.
