Abstract: This paper deals with two problems in the Phase Geodimeter. One of them is theperiodic error caused by harmonic interference. The other is the increase of the periodicerror proportional to distance, which is caused by photic interference. These are theproblems to which theory has no explanation, and therefore were unable to be solved inpractical work in the past. This paper analyzes the problems and offers methods to eliminate them.
