摘要: MAPGEN是用于制图自动综合的专家系统。它由知识库、推理机、解释接口、演绎数据库和图形I/O等5部分组成。本文介绍了MAPGEN的结构,说明了知识库、数据库与图形I/O的结合,给出了运行实例。

Abstract: MAPGEN is an expert system for automatic cartographic generalization. The system consists of 5 parts:knowledge base, inference engine, explanatory interface, deductive database and graphics I/O package. In the paper, the structure of MAPGEN is introduced, the integration of KB, DB and GI/O is presented and some results are shown.
