3DGIS Parallel Rendering Model Based on OpenMP Technology

  • 摘要: 针对海量3DGIS数据绘制计算量大、耗时长的特点,在多核计算和程序设计的基础上,利用OpenMP并行开发技术设计了多核3DGIS并行绘制模型。此模型利用3DGIS数据的可并行性特征,充分利用计算机的多核计算资源,通过派生出多个同步线程对3DGIS非相关数据进行并行绘制,并采用OSG渲染引擎进行可视化。结合三维城市场景实例验证了多核并行绘制所带来的计算加速比。

     

    Abstract: Massive three-dimensional GIS(3DGIS)data rendering is computationally inten-sive,and time-consuming.Therefore to address these limitations,we used OpenMP paralleltechnology to design a multi-core 3DGIS parallel rendering model based on multi-core com-puting and programming.The purpose of the model is rendering and visualizing 3DGIS databy deriving multiple simultaneous threads to take full advantage of multi-core computing re-sources.Finally,using an instance of a three-dimensional urban scene we verify the calcula-tion of speedup by multi-core parallel rendering.
