Abstract: This paper proposes the concept, structure and principle of GIS intelligent agent (GIS-IA). GIS-IA is the basic unit that can realize GIS intelligent analysis, and the frame of intelligent analysis based on GIS-IAs is an effective way to realize intelligent spatial decision-making.
