Abstract: On the basis of analyzing influence of spatial accuracy and relationship to other geographic features, researching method of error propagation of linear features’ simplification algorithms is proposed, error propagation model of linear features’ simplification algorithms is developed, and the model is visualized using error ellipse, finally, aiming at different linear features, error propagation of different algorithms is analyzed and evaluated.
