Abstract: The theory and method of digital image inpainting technique is introduced.After analyzing the particularities and difficulties for restoring lost information on remote sensing images,a novel method based on accessorial GIS data is proposed.The method enhances automatization level of the algorithm,and improves the quality of the restoring.
