Construction of a Virtual Geographic Environment for Air Pollution Simulation in Pearl River Delta

  • 摘要: 通过构建面向珠三角城市群空气污染模拟的虚拟地理环境,从总体上展示了系统的框架、基于网格的模型集成以及污染可视化表达,旨在探讨构建面向珠三角空气污染的虚拟地理环境关键技术的可行性。测试表明,系统设计比较合理,基本满足虚拟地理环境的需求,同时又能初步为珠三角空气污染的专业研究提供支撑。

     

    Abstract: As a typical case,air pollution in Pearl River Delta(PRD) which can match VGE conception well.Overall architecture,computational grid based model integration and computation,and visualization on air pollution discription are discussed.We build a distributed architecture to integrate models and visualizations.MM5,which is complex and computation intensive,is run on computational grid to decrease computation time.Pollution results coupled with geographic information is visualized in 2D and 3D environments.Based on the prototype system,we select one history event for simulation,and find the architecture,model integration and visualization work effectively.
