Abstract: We propose a design approach of electronic map based on parameterized template technology,in which parameterized template method,through the user configuration and modification template,in order to realized celerity and high quality design to electronic map. Study on meanings,principles and excellences of parameterized template technology import to electronic map design,we detaile introduce the parameterized template technology for the electronic map design in the application,and to develop an electronic map design system,and apply it in practice. Compared to traditional design method,this method can increase design efficiency,decrease design time on a certain extent. Moreover the maps design by using this method to display effect well. Hence,this method has some practical value.
