Abstract: This paper puts forward three methods for evaluating trapping with colorimetric measurement.After three Colorimetric evaluation methods for trapping were in detail theoretically and experimentally,discussed,analyzed and compared,the following results were given.First,by the densitometric evaluation methods for trapping there are some shortcomings.Second,the accuracy of colorimetric values,which are predicted with Neugebauer equations,is not enough.Third,the colorimetric and chromatic evaluation methods for trapping give lots of advantages and can be used for practical test of printing products.
