Building Facade Extraction and Classification Using Laser Scanning Intensity

  • 摘要: 针对车载三维测量系统中的激光扫描仪回光强度值,提出了一种基于强度值的地物信息提取和分类方法。将回光强度值进行角度、距离统一改正,并分级显示,通过绘制地物在不同能量级上的分布曲线,确定曲线峰值对应的强度级。实验结果表明,区分不同地物分布曲线上的峰值可以实现地物的提取和分类。

     

    Abstract: Laser scanner records measured distance,angle and reflected laser intensity by sending and receiving laser impulse.The distance and angle data are widely used to acquire point coordinates.However,laser intensity is not made full use in existing studies because of its uncertainty and instability.We presented a method for extracting and classifying building information based on a vehicle-borne laser scanning system.In this method,intensity is corrected according to different scanning angles and distances.Intensity is divided into certain levels,and this is used to show distributing curves of different objects and determine the peak values of curves.Experimental results show that different kinds of objects can be extracted and classified from the peak values.
