Abstract:
The development of Surveying and Mapping Science and Technology has entered a relatively critical period. It needs to consider how to promote its future development from the strategic level. Based on a systematic review of the history of the development of Surveying and Mapping Science and Technology, the general law of the development of Surveying and Mapping Science and Technology is deeply analyzed, that is, the scientific category, application demand and new technology development are the three key factors influencing and determining the direction of the development of Surveying and Mapping Science and Technology. This rule is the basic way to study and define the future development strategy of Surveying and Mapping Science and Technology. Based on the analysis of the development trend of artificial intelligence technology and its influence on the development of Surveying and Mapping Science and Technology, the future development trend of intelligent Surveying and Mapping Science and Technology under the integration of artificial intelligence and geodetic surveying, geographic information data acquisition, geographic information data processing and application technology is studied and expounded, and a vision is put forword that the traditional field measurement will gradually be replaced by intelligent machines such as unmanned aerial vehicles, automobiles, ships and satellites, and a series of difficult problems to be solved to realize this vision are put forward.
