Abstract:
Open sharing is one of the mainstream trends in the application of geographic information, and it is an effective way to achieve integration of land, sea and air information, as well as a feasible way to further integrate geographic information into the information industry. As a kind of important marine geographic information, electronic chart has been in a closed state of the industry. It has not been well integrated into the mainstream of geographic information in terms of concepts, data standards and display methods. In view of the portrayal of the electronic chart, the portrayal models of two standards (IHO S-52 and IHO S-100) were analyzed, and an XML based realization of portrayal model for electronic chart was proposed. By reconstructing the IHO S-57 data, the S-52 symbol definition set and the S-52 symbol instruction, a full opening display mode for electronic chart is constructed, which provides an important reference for upgrading the representation mechanisms of the electronic chart and other geographic information.
