Abstract: In this paper,a wavlet model is given for image fusion and image restoration.The key point is that the multi resolution character of wavelet is used to decompose a very complex and highly correlated problem into a set of less correlated and easily solved problems.The discussion in this paper is on the theory and algorithm of wavelet models for image fusion and image restoration with simple examples.
