A New Network RTK—Augmentation Reference Station

  • A new network RTK technology,called augmentation reference station(ARS),which characterizes multiple-baseline difference-positioning technology with the real-time observations of the multiple stations,is proposed under analyzing the shortcomings of VRS and MAC.The principle of ARS is analyzed,its correction generation algorithm is explained,and also a new coding format is developed for correction generation based on RTCM which is suitable for ARS.Then,the accuracy and reliability as well as data transfer efficiency is evaluated in order to present its advantages.Finally,an experiment is carried out to validate the proposed technology with the data of Sichuan integrated GPS Network.The result shows that ARS is a very promising technology with the characteristics in terms of the high positioning accuracy and high data transfer efficiency.
