Impacts of CORS Network Structure for Real-Time Differential Positioning Service Performance

  • ThestructuralunitisthebasiccellforCORSnetworkRTKservice.EvaluatingtheserviceperformanceofeachunitquantitativelyhasapositiveeffectwhenguidingandoptimizingtheCORSnetwork.Inthispaper,thepriorivariancedistributionofatmosphericcorrectionsisanalyzedwithalinearinterpolationmodel(LIM).Anevaluationfactorforthenetworkstructureisalsoproposedbasedonserviceperformanceofthestructuralunit.FivestationsfromCRTNnetinU.S.(DOY2010.93)aretestedtounderstandthedifferentperformanceswithdifferentstationsusedasthemasterreferencestation.Finally,therelationshipbetweennetworkstructureandserviceperformanceisana lyzedintheSichuan ChongqingCORS(ithas82triangleserviceunits,withaserviceareacovering250,000squarekilometers).ExperimentalresultsshowthattheCORSnetworkstructureisoneofthemainfactorsthataffecttheserviceperformanceofwide areareal timedifferentialpositioning.TheproposednetworkstructurefactorcanbeusedforevaluatingthestructureofaCORSnetworkwith100kmlevelbaselinelength.
