Multi-mode Tensor Expression Model of Multidimensional Spatio-temporal Field Data

  • Theeffectivemanagementandanalysisofmultidimensionalspatio temporalfielddatawithincreasedquantityandcomplexityisabottleneckincurrentGIS.Thispaperintroducesatensorstruc turewithmultidimensionalunityandcoordinateindependencetoprovideamulti modetensorexpres sionmodelforspatio temporalfielddata.Werealizetensorconstructionforgeosciencesdataandde signdataandtaskflowsformultidimensionaltensordataanalysis.Themanagementandanalysisofmultidimensionalspatio temporalfielddataisaimedatdifferentapplicationcontexts;realizedinthepaperbydefiningthreekindsoftensordataexpressionandapplicationmodelsbasedonoriginalten sor,tensordecompositionandhierarchicaltensordecomposition,respectively;accordingtodifferentdatamanagementandanalysisneeds.Onthisbasis,wedesignedthetensor basedmulti modedataa nalysisframeworkandapplicationanalysistrafficflowtemplate.Weimplementedthesekeytechnolo gies,integratedtheminaprototypesystem,andtesteditsperformancebasedonthesatellitealtimetrymeasurements.Theresultsshowthatthisnewtypeoftensor basedmulti modeexpressionmodelcansupportthemanagement,analysisandstorageofmassivespatio temporalfielddata.Italsohasanad vantageformemoryspaceoccupancyandtheefficiencyofretrievalandanalysis.
