Similarity for Spatial Directions Between Areal Objects in Raster Data

  • 摘要: 提出了基于栅格数据的面状目标之间的两种空间方向相似性的计算方法:利用栅格数据的特征和方向关系矩阵计算空间方向相似性;基于单个栅格单元与参考目标之间角度的变化计算面状目标之间空间方向相似性。这两种方法简化了由Goyal提出的基于方向关系矩阵模型计算空间方向相似性的方法,克服了方向产生某些细微变化时的限制,在计算面状目标空间方向相似性时具有更广泛的适用性。

     

    Abstract: Two methods for calculating similarity for spatial directions between areal objects in raster data are given: one is based on the features of raster data and the directional matrix to calculate the similarity for spatial directions; the other is based on the variation of angle between each raster cell and a reference object to calculate the similarity for spatial directions. The two methods simplify the calculation of similarity given by Goyal for spatial directions based on direction matrix model, or overcome the limitation of direction small change. The two methods have broader applicability to calculating the similarity for spatial directions.
