Abstract: Tranditional database systems can only deal with alphanumeric data. It is difficult for them to process complicated spatial data such as geographical data. Objct-oriented approach-es have many advantages and are used for spatial data base more and more. This paper disscuss-es object-oriented semantic date model at first and introduces to an object-oriented spatial ex-perimental system spobase.
