Integrating Urban POI and Road Networks Based on Semantic Knowledge

  • 摘要: 提出一种基于POI与道路间语义关联的城市POI与道路网集成方法。首先利用POI的路名信息构建POI语义连接图,并识别和简化道路交叉口结构;然后结合POI与交叉点的连接路名信息进行POI与路网的特征点匹配;最后通过迭代方式实现POI与路网数据的位置集成。实验表明,本文方法能够将偏差较大的POI有效集成到道路网中,保证POI与导航路网间相对位置的准确性。

     

    Abstract: The paper proposes a novel method for integrating urban POI and road networks based on semantic association. The proposed method utilizes semantic information involved in each POI point and road segment to construct a POI semantic connectivity graph which represents the similar structural patterns with road network. Then the paper recognizes and simplifies road junctions so as to record the correct position and connected road names of each junction. After that, the matching feature points between POI and road data can be found by comparing the connected road names of POI and road junction. At last, an iterative process is implemented to geometrically integrate two heterogeneous data sets of POI and road network. The experimental results in Wuhan show that our method can effectively match POI points to road networks, and ensure the relatively positional relations between POI points and the neighboring roads.
