A Novel Dodging Algorithm for Remote Sensing Images Affected by Thin Clouds

  • 摘要: 如何解决遥感影像的薄云遮挡,是获取高质量的光学遥感影像的一个技术问题。针对单幅光学遥感影像内部所产生的色彩不均匀现象,分析了薄云影响下的遥感影像成像机理及影像特点,提出了基于HSV变换和小波域增强的薄云影像匀光算法。用两颗不同的卫星遥感影像数据进行了实验和分析,并与两种传统匀光算法进行比较,证明该算法能有效去除光学遥感影像中薄云的影响,并改善影像质量,匀光效果优于传统算法。

     

    Abstract: How to solve the cloud obscuring problem in remote sensing images is a technical issue for acquiring high quality optical remote sensing images. To remove the color and luminance differences within optical remote sensing images affected by thin clouds, an image dodging algorithm is proposed based on HSV transform and wavelet domain enhancement. Experiments are performed with high resolution remote sensing images of two different satellites. The experimental results indicate that the proposed algorithm can remove the effects of thin clouds, and improve the image quality. It is demonstrated that the proposed algorithm is superior to the traditional algorithms based on the experimental results.
