Fusion of Remote Sensing Images Based on Morphological Pyramid and Its Performance Evaluation

  • 摘要: 提出了一种基于影像形态金字塔分解的融合方法,并应用于IKONOS全色影像和多光谱影像的融合中。在构建金字塔时采用的形态滤波是非线性滤波,与线性滤波相比,它能更准确地定位边缘,更好地表现影像的空间细节信息。实验结果表明,基于形态金字塔的融合效果优于拉普拉斯金字塔和对比度金字塔。

     

    Abstract: A fusion method is introduced which is based on morphological pyramid decomposition,and applied to ikonos images.As a non-linear filter,the morphological filter outperforms the linear filter(eg.Gaussian filter) in precise edge localization,and better represents the detailed spatial information of images.Results and analysis of the experiments show that the fusion method based on morphological pyramid is better than the methods steming from Laplacian pyramid or contrast pyramid.
