Abstract: The C/N0 of received GPS signal is described. The concept of C/N0 pattern is introduced. The relationship between the C/N0 pattern and gain pattern is derived. The time variation and direction variation of atmospheric loss are evaluated initially. The concept of C/N0 anomaly and the C/N0 anomaly pattern are introduced. The orientation of passive interference could be determined with the C/N0 anomaly pattern.
