Abstract: The paper analysed the stochastic methods and Functional models which were used to calculated the velocity field and proposed a new interpolation approach integrating two classes of models,for minimizing the residual misfit.It is shown,by comparison between results derived by various models,that the integrated approach is better than the methods based on individual model,either functional or stochastic,for interpolation of velocity field.
